2 Corinthians 10:3-5 - "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight withare not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

Bless

___________, I bless you in the name of Jesus. I bless your spirit to be strong and courageous. I bless your mind to be in full submission to the mind of Christ. I bless you to have great confidence in the words of the Lord to you. I bless you to stand firm in the truth that Jesus has revealed to you, and to recognize that revelation is a weapon. I bless you to recognize the lies that come, and to know how to submit them to Jesus.

Declare

I declare that I will fight the lies that come to me. I will choose truth. I declare that I will not fight like the world fights ... I will fight by resting in the work of the cross. I will align my thoughts with what Jesus says, and I will choose to dismiss the thoughts that do not align. I declare that I choose awareness. I will not let thoughts come in casually. I will be mindful of what enters my mind because I do not want a lie to take root. I will remain diligent.

Psalm 1 - "Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is is the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Use this one to bless yourself and your business.

Bless

____________, I bless you in the name of Jesus. I bless you to take joy in the word of the Lord. I bless you to think about His scriptures and His commands. I bless you to be changed by the power of Jesus' words, written and spoken. I bless you to be surrounded by wise counsel, men and women of God who will speak boldly into your life and situations.

Declare

I declare that I will listen to the wisdom of the Lord. I will keep my eyes on Him and what He has called me to. I will not compromise who I am. I will not mock, but I will remain kind in my heart. I will yield fruit. I will produce good fruit ...fruit that is in season and is ripe. I will prosper in my ways because I am tapped into the Living Water.

Today's post is going to be a little different. Yesterday evening we found out who our new representatives in government are. So today, we are going to use our bless and declare for intercession. Whether you are joyful or saddened by the results is indifferent. We are instructed to pray for those in authority.

1 Timothy 2:1-3 - "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior."

Bless

I bless those who are in public office.  I bless their spirits to commune with the Holy Spirit. I bless them to have encounters with you, Jesus. I bless them to find you as their Savior, and to submit to the authority of Christ. I bless them to have hearts that genuinely care for the people that they represent, and I bless them with bravery, courage and humility.

Declare

I declare that atmospheres will be shifted in our cities, regions, and nation as we intercede for our leaders. We declare that their worlds will be continually bombarded with those who love you, Jesus. We declare Godly wisdom and counsel will lead them as they make decisions. We ask that you will remind our hearts to pray and bless those who lead us. We will speak life in and through even the most difficult situations, and we declare that we will not align our voices with the plans of the enemy. We will be mindful of the fact that as believers, we create realities with our words. We bless or we curse, and today we choose to bless. Thank you for our leaders and for working in them, through them, and despite their weaknesses.

We will take personal responsibility for our nation, understanding that it follows the believer. We will work in our authority and we will no longer passively complain. We will step into the reality of 2 Chronicles 7:14. That if "we" humble ourselves, seek your face, and pray, that you declare that "you" WILL hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land.
