Psalm 33: 8-12 -Let all the earth fear the Lord;
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
For He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded, and it stood fast.
The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect.
The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
The plans of His heart to all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.

Declare

I declare that I will choose wonder. I will choose awe. I will not let myself get so familiar with your ways that I am numb to your awesome holiness. I will remain intrigued and submitted to who you are. I declare that I will seek your counsel, and I will let it affect my generations. For you are the God of my family.

Recently I had a friend tell me how his family uses bless and declares at their family meal time. He will bless the family, and then they will each declare truth over themselves. What a great idea. If you are needing a way to spice up your family's dinner time prayers....try this approach!

I bless you to recognize the shift and re-arranging that is happening around you and to know where you need to stand. I bless you to hear the voice of the Lord clearly in this season and to trust what you hear. I bless you with peace that passes all understanding and an inner-knower that recognizes truth.

Declare

I declare that I will not miss what the Lord is doing in this season. I will position myself to be in the midst of the outpouring of His spirit and in the position of influence that He has for me. I will embrace the call and the anointing He has on me for this season. And I declare that I will co-labor with Him in new ways and new places. I will honor whole-hearted living in this new season.

Jeremiah 29: 11-14a - "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.  I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity."

I declare that I am not wandering. I am in the Lord's hands. I will choose to remind myself that He has a plan for me and it is good! I will submit myself to Him and He will bring hope to my heart. I will not remain bound up in captivity....even emotional captivity. He will find me when I seek Him ... So I will seek whole-heartedly.
