Week 4 Day 20 - March 31

We do not have to try to manufacture breakthrough. Christ's DNA runs's within you. Christ was full of faith. Christ holds all authority. Christ created and was the breakthrough.

It is not trying to achieve some supernatural breakthrough, it is knowing who you are in Christ when breakthrough happens. It is who you are. Not what you do. 

It's not a word of faith thing, it is the awareness of who Christ is in you. It is the oneness of you and God. 

Sometimes when breakthrough delays, and the new that you feel seems far off, it is easy to begin to strive for the breakthrough. 

It is in these times where we must sit, and refresh ourselves with the union we have with our Father. With Jesus. It is in oneness and union with them that we breakthrough. 

Breakthrough was never ours to create, it was only something we have within us because of whose seed lives within our hearts.

So today, ponder these things.

1) In focusing on your business and goals, have you been pushing so hard that you have forgotten to release breakthrough by being instead of doing?

2) Focus in on what you are truly needing right now in you business. Then ask Jesus to reveal that part of His character to you. Engage Jesus in that way. Let it put deep the promise and trust you need.

3) How was Daniel able to remain diligent praying for breakthrough even though the angel got held up for 21 days? How do you remain faithful in the tarring without losing heart? It is by knowing that you can not fabricate it, it come from heaven. Breakthrough is God's to bring, your's to receive and release. So let's release it. Pray a prayer of release for the breakthrough you need. Then ask Jesus to commission his servants, the angels, to help you with your assigned breakthrough.

I declare that I will trust God, my breaker. He will create momentum that no man can stop. I will purposely engage in intimacy, because that intimacy sustains my soul, and develops me into the person who is successful. I am successful because of who I am, not what I do. I will willingly cooperate with any aid Jesus sends, and I will remain diligent in my faith. My faith comes by hearing the vision and promise of the Lord, and I have my ears open so that my faith can grow!

Week 4 Day 19

One of the reasons that people often cite for avoiding wealth, or making peace with mediocrity is how Jesus said that we cannot serve God and Mammon. Without looking further into what Jesus was meaning, it can confuse your heart enough that you don't have full peace seeking and pursuing influence.

If we are going to ask Jesus for influence, and if we want to rise to the top of our field so that we can further the kingdom, then we need to make peace with this notion of promotion.

Let's look at two different scriptures ...

Proverbs 10:22 -"The blessing of the Lord brings wealth without painful toil for it." And in a different version ... "The blessing of the Lord will make you rich, without adding sorrow to it."

 When looking at wealth and riches, it is easy to see that much of it has added obstacles, burdens, and problems to people's lives. Success and wealth gotten by unrighteous ways has to be maintained with unrighteousness. This is why it is so vital to set a standard, a moral compass, for your business. Because when the Lord breathes increase, it does not come with sorrow. It does not come with painful toil. Although influence always adds responsibility, the wealth of the Lord comes with the favor, ease, and counsel of the Lord with it. 

In Deuteronomy 8:18, after reminding the Israelites that it was not by their strength that they had wealth, the Word says, "But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today."

The saying that states ... Money is a horrible master but a great servant ... is very true. To align with the way that Jesus talks about money and wealth, we have to have this in our minds. Structuring yourself in such a way that you always have an open hand is vital, or this master/servant issue can quickly get out of balance.

Vision of why you want to be successful. Vision of how you will use influence. And promises and words from God will be the anchor when opportunities come your way that will bring you wealth ... with sorrow. Lets think about these questions.

1) Do you ever struggle with pursuing success and influence? What thinking makes this difficult?

2) Have you ever earned money/received money that came with sorrow attached to it? Ask Jesus to increase your wealth and for it to come with peace and the provision necessary to steward it properly.

3) It is Jesus who gives you the power to produce wealth. Ask Him to give you creative ideas, solutions, and inventions. Ask Him to breathe an impartation upon you and your business to create/produce wealth.

I bless you to be filled to the brim and overflowing with the fruits of the Spirit. I bless you to hunger only for that wealth that the Lord gives.

I declare that I will week God for the ideas for my business. I will commit myself to His counsel in how I grow my wealth. I will serve God, and I will make money my servant, not my master. I will propose to use it as Jesus instructs, and I will joyful give and receive.

Week 4 Day 18 - March 25

One of today's lost arts is blessing our competitors. I want us today to spend time analyzing why we should, why we don't, and what it produces.

We are familiar with the scripture in Luke 6 that states we should bless those who persecute us and pray for those who mistreat us. But what about those who are our competitors. Those who do business alongside of us. Many have done nothing personally to us. But they are in our industry, typically are our competitors, and many times after the same influence that we seek.

Blessing literally means to invoke divine favor upon. The history of the word bless comes from the Old English word, bledsianē based on blood. Its original meaning is to mark or consecrate with blood. This was influenced by the Latin translation, benedicere which means to praise, worship and later by association with the word bliss. So when you bless someone you are literally invoking the favor of the Lord. You are marking or consecrating them with blood. You are blessing them to praise and worship, and to experience bliss! 

When you can be confident enough in your business that you can bless your competitor to experience divine favor, you are aligning with the Lord's heart. You are walking out of a place of honor and integrity. You are choosing to believe the word of promise to you and not to live in fear.

My friend Wendy Walters taught me about red ocean/blue ocean. It is realizing that when you are all going after the same fish that there is blood in the water. But when you open your eyes, get creative, and ask God for a new fishing spot, you get to fish a blue ocean. And even if there are fewer fish in the blue fishing area, they are all yours for the taking.

When you pursue competition in business with the mentality of finding your USP (unique selling proposition), you automatically realize what sets you apart from others. You set yourself up to fish in a blue ocean.

In the economy of heaven, you don't have to steal business to grow and compete. Jesus actually creates business for you. Remember when the disciples were fishing the way that they always had. Jesus instructed them to put there net on the other side of the boat. Their obedience filled their nets with an abundance of fish. Listen and be quick to obey, and your nets will be filled.

Walking in this reality requires you to realize that there is enough for you and for your competition. 

So let's ponder and do these things... 1) Think about your competitors. BLESS THEM!!! When you do, you are releasing the grabby attitude and the stinginess of heart that will hold you from growth.

2) Are you fishing in a red ocean or a blue ocean? If you need a new blue fishing spot, ask Jesus to give you creative insight on how to grow your business where the competition isn't looking. (And understand that after you have fished a spot for a season, those in your industry will follow your pioneering path. That is why change is continuous. Because we are in perpetual motion. It is glory to glory that we move. Continual momentum.)

3) Do you feel like you are lacking in customers? Ask Jesus for more than enough.

4) Can you define your USP? What sets you apart and makes you different? Is it your integrity? What you do for your client? Some of both? Establish it and stand firm in it.

I declare that I will sow honor. I will operate with my values and morals even when others are succeeding. I declare that I will operate knowing that my inheritance, my leads, and my customers are funneled to me from heaven. I eagerly anticipate the suddenly that causes my net to overflow with fish.

Week 4 Day 17 - March 24

The law of inheritance is greater than the law of sowing and reaping.

Recently I was listening to a message by Kris Valloton and this is the little gem the Lord dropped into my spirit. In the message Kris was talking about there are 3 levels to life. 1. curse - you do the right thing but the wrong thing happens. till the soil but it produces thistles. 2. sowing & reaping - you get what you planted 3. inheritance - I get what someone else worked for.

We know that we have been redeemed from the curse by Jesus Christ. But too often, we relegate ourselves to sowing and reaping. I am not advocating that this principle is unnecessary, I am just stating that there is a greater one. You are responsible for what seeds you sow. But the greater reality lies in realizing that you are a son. Son's have inheritances. They steward their own seeds, but they also get to reap their Father's. They get to inherit what Jesus paid for. 

Our businesses will tend to pull out of balance towards striving if we only operate out of sowing and reaping. It is when we step into sonship and receive our inheritance that we get to move faster than others. Sons have things that orphans never will simply because of what their Father releases. 

Why do you think that the reaper will overtake the sower? Until I heard this message, I had always thought that the reaper and the sower were the same person. But what if, the sower is operating out of one law (law of sowing and reaping) and the reaper is operating out of another (the law of inheritance)? Fathering and mothering is vital. Integral in fact to multiplication. Sonship is necessary to receive. So today I want us to ponder these things...

1) Where has my Father in heaven been preparing an inheritance for me? What has He been doing in my industry/company that He wants me to receive?

2) Have you ever received something that you did nothing for? An inheritance, a gift, etc...? Sometimes we struggle with receiving because this part of leaving our orphan selves is difficult. Ask Jesus if to help your heart to rest and receive. Ask Him what inheritance He wants to give you.

3) Businesses will grow when we submit our selves to be sons. Yes, we have our Father in heaven. But do you have a mentor/father in your business? If not, begin to petition heaven.

Inheritance was and still is the fullness of the laying on of hands. Healing, through laying hands, was just part of our inheritance from Jesus/Father. Inheritance was so important that Jacob stole Esau's birthright and the blessing that came with it. Don't forget to submit yourself to receive your Father's blessing ...His inheritance that He laid up just for you and the work of your hand.

I declare that i am a son of the most High God. I choose to lay aside striving and I will walk in the rest that comes with inheritance. I purpose to steward my inheritance wisely, and the seeds I sow will now be with a legacy mindset. I will make decisions in my business out of the inheritance mindset and it will open doors for me that no man can shut.

Week 4 Day 16 - March 23

So since yesterday's email went out late, you get the privilege of receiving 2 today!

For the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Last week we looked at having faith to move mountains, and today I want to focus on having joy that gives us strength. I have a joy tree in my front yard. Unfortunately since the Lord talked to me about my tree, the tree killed over. It was just straight dead. I had laid hands on it, commanded life into it, cried....just lots of things. See this tree was significant of a healing and a deliverance Jesus did for me.

So this past week, I get a call from the tree guy. On Wednesday at 2:15. He was coming to replace my tree in 15 minutes. So by 2:30 the tree was out, and by 5:30 I had already picked a new tree, and it had been planted. It is beautiful. Stunning. A better tree than I could have hoped for, and it is stinkin' healthy. My joy tree is strong.

The little things the Lord has done, the things that are special to your heart, are special to His. 

So what does this have to do with business? LOTS! When we get weary of the mundane, tired of the chaos, and hungry for the next level, it is the strength of the Lord that sustains us. And that strength is created and maintained by joy.

The Lord is pouring out His joy right now. In a suddenly kind of way. Be looking. He wants to make your menial tasks have joy. He wants you to laugh throughout your day. He want your business to grow stronger because you have the kingdom. And Romans says that the kingdom is not meat nor drink, but righteousness, peace and JOY in the Holy Spirit.

So today, ask yourself these questions.

1) Do I allow myself to have joy in my work? Why or why not?

2) Do you feel weary ... if so, ask for an infusion of Holy Spirit joy. It'll change your attitude and your week.

3) Practice smiling. Sometimes it is as simple as breaking a habit and purposefully keeping a smile on your face. It's is virtually impossible to stay grumpy when you smile for more than 30 seconds. Test me on this one.

I declare that I will walk in strength because I choose to receive and keep the joy of the Lord. I receive and eagerly look for the suddenly that will overtake me with joy. I will let it emirate through my selling, my writing, my conversations, and my encounters. I will release it freely and finish work with more vigor because I have let His joy sustain me.

Week 3 Day 15, March 22

So to be totally honest, I didn't have the gumption to right this Friday or Saturday. I am sincerely asking that if this is something that you are doing, send me an email. I need some feedback and some encouragement on this one. Now...let's move on.

Promotion is happening all around us. I was struggling this week and had a friend pray over me. He said something that stuck with me. He said when there are suddenlies, many times old kings are leaving power, and new kings are gaining.  In reality, we saw this with Saudi Arabia this year. SUDDENLY, there was a new king. 

Most of us are working to be kings in our heart, but have yet to be promoted into the palace. This is important to master. Remember Joseph... he responded as a king in the pit, as a slave, and then he had a suddenly and was in the palace. I understand the process of faith, and of developing our skills. But we need to be diligent about partnering with the season we are in WHILE still acting as a king. Stewarding your influence for your greater purpose now, solidifies how you will steward your influence when you have more.

Let's clarify our influence's purpose. 1) Do you know what you truly desire to use your influence for? Set aside all of the religious mumbo jumbo, make this personal. 

2) How would you affect culture? Business? Your city?

3) Are you doing anything now to service that end? If so, what? If not, where can you start?

I declare that I am powerful not matter the situation I am in. I attract open doors, and I have more than enough. I am a king because of my heart and my inheritance, not because of my surroundings. I fully submit myself to the process of the Lord and I trust that He who knows the end from the beginning has the exact hour set of my suddenly. I receive it and eagerly anticipate what it will bring to me personally, to my business, and to the world.

Week 3 Day 14 - March 19

Today. Get specific. You are in partnership with Jesus. He want you to have His heart, but the ironic thing is that He trusts yours. Sometimes we are so worried about what Jesus is doing that we miss the fact that He gave us the business to steward. So trust yourself. Get specific in what you want to accomplish. We have done this, but today has a special anointing to pray and receive breakthrough. So get into a heavenly place and release what you need.

Recognize that you steward the atmosphere of your business. Many of us are prophetic. We feel the atmospheres of our clients, the changes in the industry, and the shifts happening in and around us. But part of being specific and stewarding our business appropriately, is understanding that YOU are responsible for the attitude and atmosphere that your business operates under. 

You may get hit by worry, confusion, or overwhelm, but you don't have to let that be the atmosphere that rules your work. Get specific about what you want to feel. Get specific about the promises of God, and then release them into the atmosphere. 

Steward your influence, your time, your authority, and your atmosphere. And if you are feeling subjected to another atmosphere or problem, ask Jesus why it is controlling you. Then partner with Him to bring Heaven's reality into it.

I declare that I will set the atmosphere according to God's promises. I will partner with Him. I choose to have peace and joy. I will be specific about breakthrough and I receive faith to break out of my old patterns of belief.

Week 3 Day 13 - March 18

"The tide has turned." I heard the Lord say it. Then immediately I saw a picture of the ocean being pulled back away from the shore, and then suddenly, a huge wave (like a tsunami ) rose on the horizon. It was coming rapidly to the shore.

This is where we are. This is what is coming. It is the Lord's wave. When you are pressing towards breakthrough, it can seem as if it will never break. But I saw the wave, the tide has changed. And it hit the shore and kept going.

So what does that mean for us as business people. The thing that you have been pressing towards, the thing you have been resting towards ... keep believing. Keep pressing. Keep resting. Because it is coming.

Sometimes the disappointment of things not working out like you expect or happening when you think it should, leads to offense. Offense at the Lord. Today I want us to clear our hearts.

Get in a quiet place with Jesus and ask Him :

1) Is there any place in my business that I am offended with you? If so, ask what it is.

2.) Ask Him to reveal where He was in that place. Make sure and give Him any resentment, pain, disappointment or anger associated with it.

3) Ask Jesus to fill you with hope again. Ask Him to breathe His dreams and goals into you. Ask Him to show you what to press towards.

Forgive the Lord for not operating like you want Him to. Then get a clear picture of what HE is doing in your business.

I declare that I want to believe for the things you are bringing. I want hope. I will try to recognize my offenses before they take root in my heart. I declare that breakthrough is quickly coming and that I believe it is for me.

Week 3 Day 12 - March 17

Sometimes the reason that we don't press heavily toward our goal is because we are afraid of our own greatness. 

We all have big lofty dreams, and we have high callings. The truthful reality is that looking at who we feel that we could be is scary. It requires us to see ourselves in a state beyond where we are currently standing, in a character that we have yet to fully possess. 

But the dream, the calling, it is real and it is there, in your heart, NOW. And the only way to eventually bring that dream into the reality of life, is to begin to see yourself walking in the greatness you possess.

One of my great fears is that I will be normal. That I will never become something that I perceive as great. But the fear has often kept me crippled simply because it has stolen my vision of what I could be.

When you fail to see the greatness that the Lord put within you, you relegate yourself to your fear. But I am attempting to live with no more caps... no more hinderances. I want to live fully alive, fully free, and fully me. Being an expert at how I do life. Being great in little tasks and great in big tasks. 

1) When you get real, are you afraid of being as awesome and as great as you know you are called to be? 

2) Why is walking in your fullest potential intimidating? And if it isn't, what is the factor that makes it easy to step into?

3) What can you change to allow your vision of yourself to broaden into the full, free version of yourself that the Lord sees and that you know is inside?

I declare that I will not shrink back, or relegate myself to the normal things. I will not be ok with better than most. I will be satisfied when I am the best me. I remove the caps that I have placed on myself to make me comfortable. I will give of my heart, walk in my call, and embrace the fullness God has for me. I will no longer limit myself out of fear.

Week 3 Day 11 - March 16

Today in my Jazzercise class we got a new song. I'm not exactly sure what it is called, and I'm sure the real meaning isn't so pure... but the chorus is my new workout power song. It goes ...."I can move mountains, I can work a miracle. Work a miracle."

I love it and that part sticks with me for a few hours after class. I like it because it is true. It is what the gospel tells us. We are powerful. We can move mountains with just the faith of a mustard seed. We have been filled with the spirit of the living God, and not just invited to work miracles, but in the great commission, commanded.

In regards to business, sometimes, we need to move mountains. Sometimes we need to work a miracle. But why is it that when those times come, we sometimes get a little off in our theology and just continue along waiting for things to change.

If you are needing a change, first be the change. Make sure your mindset is clear and your heart is clean. Then, don't be afraid to speak to the mountain that is affecting your business or blocking your path and command it to get into the ocean. Cast it aside. Level it. 

I feel strongly that there are times when we need to embrace the power of Jesus that is coursing through our veins and partner with heaven to bring a decree on our behalf. This may involve literally asking the Great Judge, our Father, to render a verdict against whatever is standing against us. Or it may mean that the Father is asking us to work a miracle. Press in and declare change. Decree a thing and let it be established.

Which one? That is up to the Holy Spirit. But today, ask yourself if you shy away from being the agent of change for your business. Are you willing to partner with heaven to work a miracle? Will you have faith for it? Can you dream that big? What keeps you from practically seeing that it could be your reality?

I declare that I will see myself as powerful in my business. I will not let the hinderances keep me from influence. I will have continual momentum. I will partner with Jesus to bring heaven to my business. I will work a miracle.

Week 2 Day 10- March 15

uhh, YUP. It's late. And in my mind, there is a perfectly valid reason. See this past weekend, I got bit by a bug. A little bug called fear. Currently in our family situation, due to the demands of a volatile market, our normal sales/income is decreasing. Sometimes when I am in a good state of mind, I have the ability to see past the current and into the vision of the future and the up-turn, and then times, like Friday, I take on a little poison from that fear that bit me. 

Luckily this time, the poison was able to make it's way out of my body rather rapidly...within about 36 hours. Historically, it used to eat at me for days... I consider this progress. 

So this weekend I have been contemplating what it means to walk like a king in the midst of hard seasons. And though I have known that poverty thinking, fear, and just grit are not part of my kingdom inheritance, I want to make sure that I don't pick any of them up, or let any of those things into my house in this season. I have to decide what will be in me and in my house.

I know that I will operate with eyes of faith and a heart full of revelation. I will stand in peace, and I will continue to have favor. I will expect doors to open to me/us that won't open to anyone else ...simply because of the anointing that Jesus adds to the picture.

But, I also want to be wise and grow in these times as well. So while we were driving in the car for several hours, I began to play some of the best TED talks of all time. Paul and I listened to one on the science of motivation. IT WAS FABULOUS. <http://www.ted.com/playlists/171/the_most_popular_talks_of_all >

One of the statements he said grabbed both of us. He said that to move forward well in this day and age, you need autonomy, mastery, and purpose. And I fully agree with him. He says that when these things are in place, i.e. freedom to do your job how you feel like it needs to be done...ability to do it well ... a reason to do what you are doing that will sustain personal motivation ...that you will remain creative and have ingenuity.

I want to work with ingenuity and creativity. I want to work my business in such a way that I have the ability to see past the obstacles and think outside of the box. I want to think large and wide. I want my scope to dream and have a foundation. 

One of the sayings of our era is that as believers we have answers and solutions to the world's problems. This is true and great. BUT I have come to dislike spiritual sayings that remain etherial and have no practical use in my world. Up until this month, I have thought of the problems in such a way that it was how to solve the border crisis, how to fix immigration, the Fed, and so on and so forth. Big things....

But you are supposed to have answers and solutions to the world's problems that affect you as well. We all know that the world around us creates problems that just aren't supposed to exist. Somethings that hit us are out of our control, but the way we respond isn't. We can get with the Lord, tap into the creativity and ingenuity that HE offers and have solutions to the problems that the world is throwing our way. 

Simply put, even in down turns or difficult marketing times, we can have the breakthrough we are needing and craving. So since I have made this post longer than usually, I will simply leave you with these 2 questions and then our B & D.

1.) Do you allow yourself to be creative and have ingenuity or do you stifle it?

2) What creative solution is God wanting to pull out of you that solves one of the problems that the world is throwing your way?

I declare that I will not trudge through the same old way. I will put my trust in the Lord and I will expect our partnership (mine and Jesus') to produce vision, ideas, and solutions that the world and my company has yet to see. I declare that I will never fail to produce fruit...I have His favor and anointing for success.

**In closing... you were made in His image... and He...King Jesus... was the solution for the fallen world. Don't be afraid to be an answer to someone's...maybe your ... problem.

Week 2 Day 9 - March 12

I want to explore the anomaly of how the Lord seems to work. It seems like when we expect growth, it delays, and then suddenly it arrives. How come the Lord's timing seems so different than ours?! 

I'm not going to claim to be an expert at timing, but I do know that the Lord operates in very specific ways. Sometimes, we get to understand them, and sometimes we are in the dark. But I have seen a pattern in scripture that leads happens with business. 

Many times when the world was going one way, believers and the those who had the Lord's heart went the opposite (when the world was struggling, believers rose). I believe that this is how it is to be all the time. To maintain the kind of momentum that creates growth in the "off-season" is decidedly a difficult thing, and without the anointing of the Lord, seemingly impossible.

But look at Gideon ... Israel in shambles to another god, then God promotes him suddenly. Look at Esther ... a hidden plot behind the scenes, but God suddenly promotes one of His. Look at Joseph ... a drought on the way, then suddenly a dream interpreted. Look at King David ... 2x it happened. First, he was just a shepherd ...then suddenly anointed for kingship. Then again...he had built a great small business and was managing many "for-hire warriors" and then suddenly they anoint him again, and he is in the palace.

I could go on and on, but the point I am trying to make is that a suddenly will promote you in business faster than you can work yourself there. So we need to posture ourselves to receive a suddenly. These are the kind of encounters that you just fall into that open up huge doors of influence, favor, and sales. They are anointed by God and usually align with a specific timing.

This March of 2015, there have been multiple words about a suddenly coming upon us. I want us today to focus ourselves towards that end.

1. Ask God to reveal any place that you are out of His timing. If He shows you something, finish the task, or get you butt towards the vision you saw! Get in timing.

2. Roots of bitterness can keep us bound to old seasons more than just about anything. Ask Jesus to reveal to you where, if any, you have roots that are literally strangling the life out of you. Then FORGIVE and release and say a prayer of blessing.

3. There is very little that opens up timing more than praying in tongues. So get after it. Use your prayer language and expect Jesus to open us doors and influence and show you where and WHEN you need to be there.

I will prepare myself for the suddenly that I know God wants to bring me, and I will eagerly hold on to hope that it will come quickly. I receive my suddenly!

Week 2 Day 8 - March 11

Today I want us to work on the bumps that happen in business. Sometimes when we aren't booking clients, or the market is turned down, we can stop resting and go to striving. So today, we are going to have a simple exercise to combat the fears.

I know that when fear strikes, it typically is trying to undercut my peace. Fear is the anthesis of what Jesus has for us. Remember what the word says... Perfect love casts out all fear. And Jesus just happens to have perfect love to lavish on you.

Questions: 1. What fears are trying to rob your peace?

2. Do these fears grip your state of being, or haunt you in the back of your mind?

3. Is it easy to identify them and take them to Jesus? If not, why not?

So today, spend a few minutes asking Jesus to pour out His love on you. Ask Him to remind you how He looks after your well-being (ps 35). Then rest in His words and promises to you.

I declare that I will not let fear stop me. I will trust God's heart for my well-being and the well-being of my business. I will submit my fears as soon as I see them to His truth, and I will walk in courage when things are difficult. I choose to respond differently than the world does to the same problems because my God is my strength.

Week 2 Day 7

There is a vast difference in resting and striving. Resting in business is critical to maintaining the momentum that is built without burn out. But when thinking about resting, the tasks of each day come to mind. How can you rest and still be productive?

Striving comes from working without the help of Jesus. Resting comes from remaining in His peace and His presence as you do tasks. It really is difficult to describe, but easy to feel the difference. In our own power, we can accomplish, or we can accomplish in partnership, letting Him bring the momentum out of His joy, not out of us pushing.

Questions for today - How do you typically operate in business? Do you rest or do you strive? 

What triggers take you out of the rest of Jesus and make you feel like you gotta fix it?

Resting is synonymous with tending....striving with toiling. Ask Jesus how you can practically implement one activity/exercise that will remind you to rest. 

Striving and toiling can come from not knowing or believing that Jesus wants to grow your business as much as you do....Ask Jesus to reveal again his desire for you to grow while you trust Him.

Week 2 - Day 6

Hello there you thriving entrepreneur.  Today since it is a Monday and we are all getting started on our week, I want to make this a quick one.

Please ask Jesus to stir in you the creative gift of entrepreneurship. See Jesus ran a small business....He had 12 employees, 2 of whom were money managers, and He did it with such excellence that so much money was coming in to their gig that Judas thought he could steal money without it being noticed.

Now...I don't know many CFO's that steal money from broke businesses. It just ain't happening. To slide money away, there has to be enough excess. 

So let's ask the best entrepreneur that I know to come and stir within us that thriving, swirling, entrepreneurial spirit! 

Questions to linger on: 1. Are you tapping into that entrepreneurial spirit of Jesus? If so how, and if not, why not?   

2. Most of us tend to separate the spiritual and business in certain places and ways. Where do you separate God from your work? How can you invite Him in?

3. Entrepreneurs do things different. They see different, and they start things out of vision. Ask Jesus where you need more vision for you business. Sit on this one until you have clarity!

Week 1 Day 5

Late tonight....but you got to wait til inspiration strikes...right?!

Today the Lord was talking to me about the eroding of hope. 

When we press towards our goals, and little things begin stand in our way. People go back on their word, the market drops, clients cancel orders, ect. ect. ect. 

It doesn't really matter what it is, what matters is how do you deal with the little things.

I am reminded of the passage out of Song of Songs where the lover is asking the bridegroom to catch the little foxes that are in the vineyard. The foxes aren't going to totally tear it up, but they will mess with it enough that at least some fruit is stolen, tampered, or destroyed.

So in pondering this, the Lord dropped this little gem into my spirit. 

"Unjust things are going to happen in business. But what you do with it matters. You can play the victim and receive bitterness, disappointment and set back. Or if you let me vindicate and justify you, I will always repay."

So today, ponder if you are in alignment to a victim or if you are submitted to the court of the Lord. Are you letting the little things steal your focus? Are you feeling like you are out of control? Remember you always have seed you can sow. Or, are you trusting Jesus to work out your honor?

In certain seasons, it is easy to do and in others, difficult. Which season are you in? Typically speaking, if you haven't dealt with the season that is difficult, (even the ones from the past) then they will be affecting your ability to move forward without losing hope and vision. Let's regain some of our power by removing the places where we have felt like a victim.

Week 1 Day 4 - March 5

Guys, this one is late coming since we had another snow day. I'll be on track getting it out earlier tomorrow. In the mean time, let's charge forward!

I had a difficult time with yesterday's challenge. I have yet to see a picture of the kind of influence that God wants to give me. And I feel that the hold up is the belief that somewhere in my heart, I feel like God doesn't want me to have it. (DEALING WITH IT) I had no idea that this place of sabotage went directly with one of my main messages, but I'm thankful that Jesus is letting hinderances come to the surface so that I can have my businesses move with the acceleration Jesus intended. (HINT HINT>>>> Some of you need to start responding to these emails with your stuff. If you are here, it's cause you wanted to accelerate change. Part of change comes in community. I'm believing for your work as you believe for mine. Even a simple email saying, completed will suffice.<<<)

So today, I want you to ask God why he put you where He did. Ask Him to remind you of His heart for your client and for your family. We need to restore our plumb line. We need His heart. When we walk carrying His heart in business, the sacrifices seem worth it, and we can continue to walk displaying His heart in all of our connections. Why is your service different than the other guys....it's not just because your product is better/service is better? It is because you literally walk releasing the atmosphere of heaven where you go. You take peace, ease, and growth wherever you go. Ask God to reveal why this is so integral.

Take 5 minutes of prayer time to just ask for His heart and then end up with this B & D. Oh, and don't forget to keep soaking to your own declarations. They are a powerful force.

Week 1 Day 3 - March 4

Hello there! Hopefully by now all of you have begun to dive in to deep water about God's heart for business. I want to deal with just that today ... God's heart.

Sometimes, the menial and mundane tasks of business can suck us dry. Or the desire and necessity to grow and maintain can get us off track. BUT THE TRUTH is that business is on God's heart. 

Even in the garden, Adam and Eve had jobs. They were to tend the garden. It was only after the fall, that it became labor-some. My husband Paul refers to this as the difference of tending/toiling. We are called to tend the garden that the Lord gave us. It is our responsibility to steward the influence He gave us and the gifts within us.

Today I want us to celebrate the fact that the Lord desires you to have influence. He wants to release it upon you. You are a powerful person that He can trust. And God cares about hearts, structures, and business ...yours and theirs.

See if we are looking at the influence structure as a mountain, if you are not at the top of influence, then unrighteousness will. We are about having influence to further the Father's business in this Earth. It is our call. But sometimes, our of our wounds, and our of our poor theology, we can agree with this in theory, but we act out the fact that we don't REALLY believe that God wants to give us influence.

So, take a few minutes to get quiet before the Lord. I want you to ask Him for a picture of the kind of influence you are supposed to have. Then I want you to ask Him what is stopping you from believing that it will actually happen.

FYI** Today is the day celebrated by the Jewish people called Purim. It is when they celebrate the bravery and courage that Esther displayed in going before the king. Let's ask for the same courage and bravery today!

Week 1 Day 2 - March 3

Hey guys! Welcome to day dos! I still need to hear what some of you want.... hint hint!

As accountability, what I am believing for is for 11 more speaking engagements this year ... breaking the sabotage that I have been feeling ... i want the belief that it has to be hard to break through to be annihilated ... I want to make connections that will catapult me and the businesses I care ... I want a supernatural idea on how to market my book more effectively ....I want peace in knowing how to structure my time .... I want to feel the momentum of the Lord .... I want confidence in my call and my anointing to really take root. (plus some others)

So today is March 3 or 3/3. WaHOO! I love this day! It is filled with the promise of the Lord!

Jeremiah 33:3 says "Call to me and I answer you and show you great and unsearchable things for which you do not know!"

So today's assignment is kinda different. I have been soaking to affirmative statements towards several of my goals. It has been immensely productive, thought changing, and easy.

So we are going to do this once, and get to reap from it all month long. What I would like you to do is form declarations around each of your things that you are taking before the Lord. Then I want you to put on some music you like and then declare them over yourself. WHILE RECORDING IT WITH YOUR PHONE.

So what should be produced is a voice memo that has your declarations set to music you like and feel power on. Please don't stress about this, it doesn't have to be long. Maybe even just a minute or two. But it will be powerful because the voice declaring truth over you is yours!

So here is today's bless and declare.

Week 1 Day 1 - March 2

Hey guys!

This is the first day of our dedicated month to growth! I feel so strongly that we are set up for renewed focus, increased vision, removed barriers, and supernatural acceleration. What I ask is that we intentionally focus on our business and our desires this month. 

Today, I want to ask you to sit down and write out what specifically you are asking for. For us to have a standard to see what the Lord has done, we need to take stock in where we are, and where we want to be. 

So, today, write down what you want to shift this month, then share it with me. It's not that I need to know all your answers, but I know I need accountability, and so do ya'll. 

Also, I would like you to choose something to fast. It can be for this week, or for this month. I feel like the Lord really confirmed this to me. We are about to enter Purim (the feast of Esther). It starts on March 3 and extends into March 4. Esther entered into fasting before she went before the King. 

We are about growing our businesses, not just for ourselves, but because we would like to gain influence in our mountain and influence before kings. I am asking that you fast for the suddenness that will take you before the kings you are called to. We are going to expect increase. We are going to war for it. So let's agree for this breakthrough in fasting as well!
