Dream from the Presence
/One of the grandest things about walking with Jesus is the way that He truly wants to partner with you ... where you are standing ... to accomplish His purpose in the earth.
On Monday, I released a video of Micah Schmidt with Double Knot Photography. In her interview she talked about several strategies she uses in her business to partner with Jesus. Today we are going to hone in on the first one.

Vision and growth for your business is best birthed from the presence of Jesus.
So what does this look like practically? It starts with intentional time before God.
Start by blocking off 15 minutes at least two times this week to just sit before Jesus for the sake of your career/business. You can do it at your office desk, it doesn't have to be time where you are laid out on the floor! Put it in your calendar or set a timer on your phone. Do whatever you need to do to stop and spend time in Jesus presence.
During these 15 minute spreads, focus your heart Jesus. Praise Him. Thank Him for how He is moving in your work. But be mindful of the desires that pop into your head as you spend time with Him. Take note of them.
Psalm 37:3-5 says, "Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this."
This verse is powerful. To pay attention to the desires that rise up in your heart ... especially when you are in the presence of God is powerful. Get there. Breathe in Holy Spirit. Commit your way and your business to Him. Then see what begins to move to the surface.
Remember to speak these Bless and Declares out loud over yourself and your business. Your words hold the power to shape your world.
Bless

Declare
I declare that I will commit my ways and my walk to Jesus. I will trust that He will bring me momentum and the desires of my heart. I will rest in the fact that He is for me, and wants to work with me. I declare that when the desires arise, I will pursue them.
