I Need Your Help!

It's funny how when you least expect movement, it finds you. It's ironic how when you feel stuck, it only takes one drop of revelation to get you moving. This is why Jesus says knock and the door shall be opened to you. When you do seek answers, you truly will find them.

The vision I referred to earlier this week was of me interviewing CEO's/entrepreneurs/thought leaders. Let me expound on what I have in my heart.

It's Kingship!

Kingship is something that Jesus has been talking to me and my husband about specifically for the last 5 years. We have been in a journey with Him to eradicate all fears, all poverty mindsets, and all excuses so that we can step properly into the call He has for us.

We are called to look like Jesus. Jesus was of the order of Melchizedek. He was a prophet, a priest, and a KING. In the modern church we have an understanding of how we are to be priests before the Lord. We are to be intercessors that go before the throne of grace on behalf of others. We have begun to understand the role of the prophetic in the church. We have engaged Holy Spirit to the point that we know the voice and word of the Lord for the moment. But very few of us have learned to be kings. Remember, Jesus says that He is the King of Kings!

You, my friend, are called to walk in the authority that Jesus has placed inside of you. You are called to steward your influence for the sake of the Kingdom of God. You are called to rise to the top of your industry so that you can shape the culture with the values of heaven. You are called to be a king!

There is a reason that in all of Paul's New Testament letters that he encouraged people to remember the poor. It was because it was natural for him to go to the gatekeepers of the city, the thought leaders, and the influencers with the gospel. It was a normal thought for him to seek the people who set the culture, and to become one, so that that the culture of earth looked like the culture of heaven.

We need to do the same. We need to become strategic with the battles we are fighting. It doesn't take much to see the erosion of much of our societies moral structure in the news. So how are we going to respond. We are going to hit our knees. We are going to pray. But that is not all. We are called to step into society to be a change agent. We are called to have answers and solutions to the world's problems. We are called to step into our royal heritage, and be good kings. 

Over the past year since my book on parenting came out, I have little momentum in that niche. But what has happened has been pretty crazy. I started having several businesses come to me. They were needing strategic insight into their business and they wanted to know how to partner with Jesus in their realm of influence. 

What I began to realize is that the principles in my parenting book ... those of identity, purpose, clarity, and greatness ... were the ideals that these friends were needing in the workplace.

For the last 10 years or so, there have been prophetic words about marketplace ministry and supernatural business. The words that have been spoken and the testimonies have been encouraging, but there has been  little practical teaching about how to step into those places. 

Most people have been trying to take the instruction to pray for the sick, cleanse the leaper, and cast out the demon into the marketplace. That is not a bad thing. We need our businesses to be places of peace that bring healing to hearts and bodies. But is that all that being spiritual in business means? The weight of those words seems to carry much more than the idea of walking with integrity and putting a cross on our cards.

What does it look like to structure a business for success by kingdom principles? What does co-laboring with Jesus in the midst of your assignment actually look like? How can you supercharge where you are standing with the core values of the kingdom? 

I began to seek these things out for myself, and the businesses that I had begun working with were grateful to learn these principles too.

The results of working with kingdom clarity was that vision was now clear, people were having momentum, and they no longer felt stuck in a reactive mode. They felt cooperative with the plans of the Lord, and the ease and favor was drawing many people to their companies.

I desire to take the spiritual idea of kingdom business and make it as practical as you can without making it a formula. I want to interview these leaders on how they structure their businesses, how they cooperate with Jesus everyday, and how they work with the Holy Spirit to solve the problems that arise in their field. 

It is true that much of the next harvest can come from the marketplace. Are we ready to create atmospheres, from whatever role in the company we have, that bring people to the point of salvation and beyond? Are we ready to stop sabotaging our success and allow ourselves to rise to the top of our industry for the sake of having influence? Influence will be at the top of these places, and if you don't hold it, someone without kingdom values will. Can we partner with God to cause Earth to look like Heaven?

I know we can... and it's time that we do.

Starting in January, I will be writing to this aim. I will be interviewing people that you have heard of in various industries, and people that are obscure, but walking in power. I will be bringing you practical insight and practical tools to help you step into a new gear and begin to be strategic in your marketplace. And I will be creating online courses and content that help you be effective ... and true to the form of bless and declares, I want to add value without wasting your time.
